Mullan Road: Little Blackfoot to Dearborn Crossing
Contributed by Richard S. Buswell
KML file for Google Earth: buswell.kml
This map represents 45 years of research by Dr. Rich Buswell of Helena, Montana. The yellow line is a faithful interpretation of his route drawn on a paper Forest Service map, using Township and Range section lines as a reference, by Kris Townsend, August 30, 2017. Buswell has focused his research on the portion of the Mullan Road between the Little Blackfoot River and the Dearborn River crossing. With this digital map, Buswell, Townsend, and hopefully other researchers, hope to refine this route with greater accuracy.
